Unearthing the spirit of the global underground. Discobres is an online repository of interviews, articles, and mixes curated by Brian Parker during his 2016 Fulbright-mtvU research project in Santiago, Chile. Inspired initially by a small, yet influential cohort of Chilean electronic music pioneers, the project shifted from investigating European dance music’s Latin American roots to focusing on local artists in cities like Santiago, Lima, and Mexico City.
